Please join us for Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting’s annual spring retreat at Quaker Hill Conference Center on March 28-29, 2025 .

The topic of this year’s retreat is Everyday Spiritual Discernment led by Elizabeth Terney. Elizabeth is a graduate of Earlham School of Religion. She is a member of Clear Creek Friends Meeting and Co-pastor of West Elkton Friends Meeting. She lives in Richmond, IN. She has led this program, described below, in Richmond.

Everyday Spiritual Discernment will provide space to actively practice listening more deeply to God’s guidance in our daily lives through spiritual practices and shared reflections. It is designed so we may learn from one another to hone this skill. You’ll have the chance to participate in large and small-group activities. While our focus is mainly on daily decision-making, we can also use these practices to approach bigger issues, perhaps before sharing them with a clearness committee. We’d love for you to join us!

The retreat begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday March 28 with an option for dinner at 5:30 pm followed by evening programming. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday with programming from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.

Single and shared rooms are available with costs as follows:

  • Single room with Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch: $85
  • Single room with Saturday breakfast and lunch only: $75
  • Shared room with Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch: $70
  • Shared room with Saturday breakfast and lunch only: $60
  • No room with Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch $35
  • No room with Saturday breakfast and lunch $25

OVYM RNE will be subsidizing the actual costs for the use of Quaker Hill, so donations are appreciated.

In order to facilitate lodging, breakout sessions, and large group conversation, we must cap attendance at 30 persons. The registration deadline is March 15, 2025. Register as early as possible to save a space for yourself.
